glasses & braces!

Josh's teacher emailed me that he was having trouble seeing the board, so off to the eye dr we went. Much to our surprise, he needed glasses! Fortunately, he was very excited about them.

Evelyn just got braces & will need them for 1-1.5 years. A lot of her friends in the 3rd grade are getting braces too. She'll need a 2nd set around 6th grade or so, so she'll get to wear a retainer in between sets. She LOVES them! She's only had them a week but her sores are already getting better and she's learning how to eat with them.

In other exciting news, Nick is no longer driving 2 hours a day for work! He got a job about 10 minutes from our house! He's there in the morning when we wake up & he gets to come home for lunch. He gets to drop the kids off at school, see assemblies on his lunch break & has even popped in for a field trip! Life is GOOD!
